Grand Bank Eastbay HX EastBay HX

The Eastbay 49' is a top-quality hardtop express designed by the well respected firm of C.Raymond Hunt.The appearance and meticulous construction represents the ultimate in classic downeast styling. Built on a modified deep-V hull with a short keel with prop pockets, low profile and a long foredeck. A custom third guest stateroom has been added in addition to EastBay's standard two staterooms. Interior wood features a blend of hand-rubbed teak cabinetry,teak and holly cabin sole, Corian counter-tops and custom hardware. Below deck accommodations provide two staterooms,a main salon with a double berth opposite the galley.  There is a very spacious settee on the helm deck which provides comfortable seating for guests. The molded hardtop is an integral part of the design, and access to the engine room is through a hinged section of the cockpit bench seat. There are wide side decks, a power-assisted center windshield, transom door and teak swim platform.

Accommodations

CHARM III has Three (custom) staterooms with two heads. The master stateroom is forward with a large island double and a head ensuite with separate stall shower. An overhead hatch and opening ports provide excellent light

The galley is located amidships to port. The cabin sole throughout is finished with teak and holly, and all interior cabinetry is constructed of satin finished teak. Deck and Hull Equipment

Aft and up four steps from the galley/salon level is the helm area. There are pilot and companion seats built-in to port and starboard. Next aft is an L-shaped lounge area with storage under the bench seating and an attractive teak table. Opposite is the wet bar with an ice maker built-in beneath the port side helm seat. All the way aft is the generous sized teak cockpit deck which is good for fishing and water sports. A transom gate to starboard provides easy access to the swim platform. Forward to port and starboard there are built-in steps leading to the walkways for handling dock lines, fenders and for access to the foredeck. A hardtop and side windows enclose the pilot and settee area with a soft curtain and isinglass aft.
